O! When will the men pause?
If ever a website had a branding issue, it’s the International Menopause Society .
First thing that hits you is the regally aging color purple. So “engaging”.
Then there is the picture of the old guy. Who is he? The president of course and so, of course, the most important position on the web page is taken up with his photo. So “assuring”.
But if that was not bad enough get a load of their tag line. “The society for the study of all aspects of the climeratic in men and women”. Men, who are in complete denial about the existence of male menopause (or should we say “climeratic”?) are still take first billing. How ‘”converting” or do I mean “diverting”? Not even a dye job will fix this one, an extreme make-over is required!
Apart from the purple, it’s like the site is by men for men. The purple is a bit patronizing. Might suit the Queen but I prefer something a little more “youthful”. Clearly the site is “about” us not “for” us!
