Menopause the Musical is soo freaking funny.  Well, apparently.  A recent review from Down Under says ”women of all ages were able to have a laugh at themselves and at what it is to be a woman – the good and the bad! ”.

While Menopause the Musical might be a hard act to follow, I hear the rival musical Viva, Las Viagra is going to have a go at outlasting it.  But will they stay the distance?  

Rumors have it the production is plagued with performance issues. The production schedule is demanding. With the one show a week, some of the cast are a bit worried whether they”ll be able to keep it up.  Producers are also somewhat anxious.  At a recent Off  Broadway preview, audience numbers were deflated.  But the marketing is talking it up.  Apparently, come opening night, “men of all ages will flock together to brag about themselves and at what  it is to be a man – the good and even gooder!”.
