Dr. Jon LaPook from CBSDoc.com talks about menopausal body changes with a gynecologist with expertise in hormonal changes  and a personal trainer. 

Middle line?  Protein for breakfast, whole grain carbs, exercise later in the day, do Omega 3 (Fish Oil/Flaxseed Oil) and Vitamin D.   Do some upper body weight training to keep muscle mass up to increase BMR.  Also a diet high plant protein can offset collagen loss. Easy trick? Better posture.

Bottom line? Eat better, exercise more.
