A vagina by any other name …
Kotex tried to join the 21st century in its advertising of “feminine hygiene products” and call “down there” it’s proper name … a vagina.
But according to a report in the New York Times, three broadcast networks refused to air the ad.
So they changed it to “down there” and then only two of the three networks refused to air the ad.
Kotex, in true attention seeking behavior aka social media marketing, developed a website where you can sign up to challenge this kind of social censorship. But since the product they are trying to sell is for the 14-21 demographic, the site is just for them as well. Apparently Kotex either don’t need or don’t want the help of the over 21’s except to advertise its existence free of charge aka viral marketing.
Everyone, please, grow up.
Women of all ages use tampons. They put them inside their vaginas. And sometimes they even do it using their fingers instead of a stupid cardboard tube.
