He better have a backup plan …
The Washington Post has a review of Jennifer Lopez’s latest movie “The Backup Plan”. They say the movie is not as bad as you might think.
Wish I could say the same about the review.
It’s written by a guy named Dan Kios. According to his personal website, he ”lives in Arlington, Virginia with his attractive lawyer wife, their daughters, and their dog Eudora“. (Don’t you love how the wife gets described by her appearance and profession, the unnumbered offspring are described by their sex whereas we get told the dog’s name?)
Anyway, J-Lo’s character apparently “endures the suggestion she might be near menopause“. And to quote yet again “ She isn’t, of course! (If she were, she wouldn’t be starring in a romantic comedy! She would be playing someone’s wacky grandma.)”
Try saying that to Alia in 10 years time, Dan, and see how that’s wacks works for you.
